With brilliant ideas, strong business plans, and solid presentations, the 50 students who took part in BP Business Challenge 2016 have proven there is huge talent for creative entrepreneurship in our school.

Over three days the students worked in teams on a business idea, considering their target customers, how they would produce it, costs and distribution. They then presented their plans to judges from the businessworld.

Each year we invite past students to join the judging panel, which creates a very strong connection for our students to know that the people judging them have been in their shoes once. This year our alumni judges were:

BP Business Challenge provides a practical learning experience. It was great to see how much the students enjoyed it, and their professional approach. The future of business is in very good hands at Manurewa High School!
