Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist (fixed term 2026)

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, digitally-savvy human to help tell puuraakau (stories) of our kura — our students, staff, whaanau and community — through powerful, authentic content.

 💥 What you’ll be doing

  • Capturing high-quality photos & videos of student life, events, achievements and everyday magic

  • Creating, writing and scheduling engaging social media and digital content

  • Working closely with staff and students to share success stories — in real time

  • Using insights and analytics to grow engagement with whaanau and our wider community

  • Keeping all content aligned with our branding, values and kaupapa

  • Supporting school communications and administration when needed

 🕒 The practical stuff

  • 30 hours per week

  • Hours arranged in advance and followed consistently

  • Professional conduct at all times — especially with students

  • Absences communicated promptly to your SLT Line Manager

  • Additional duties may be assigned by the Principal when required
