We have been advised by the Post Primary Teachers Association (PPTA) that due to failed negotiations with the government, there will be rolling strikes next week. Students will remain at home on the following days:
Tuesday Oct 14th – Year 9
Wednesday Oct 15th – Year 10
Thursday Oct 16th – Year 11 and Year 12
Friday Oct 17th – Year 13
On Tuesday and Wednesday, students under 14 who cannot stay home can come to school and will be supervised by non-union teaching staff in Te Pae Tata; no regular timetable will operate; school lunch will be provided to them. If your child needs to come into school on Tuesday and Wednesday, please let us know by contacting the school office on 09 269 0690 or [email protected] All other students should continue learning from home on their rostered day, working on their Hybrid Learning Guides.
Offsite Trades & Gateway Programmes will continue as per normal on the rostered strike days.
