572 groups entered the awards, with twenty being selected to attend the national final in Wellington this week. At the awards ceremony held at Te Papa, Caring & Co really put Manurewa High School on the map with an amazing presentation, particularly from Ryan King.
As well as winning The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme Company of the Year, Caring & Co won the Te Puni Kokiri Award for Excellence in Maori Business and Lar Su'a also won the NZICA Award for Young Managing Director of the Year.
These talented, hard-working students (and their mentor/teacher Emma O'Riordan) deserve the top accolade, and it's great to see their success reported in national media. You can read more at Scoop , or see Brady Dyer's photos of the awards at http://www.bradydyer.com .
