Congratulations to Kemera Kemera and Maria Naime who qualified for the NZ Track & Field Championships held today in Christchurch. Results just in;
Mile Naime won the Under 18 title for the Hammer Throw with a distance of 51.98m, beating her personal best and taking home a gold medal. There is a good chance that Mile will qualify for the NZ Oceania team to compete in Australia. Well done Mile.
Kemera Kemera competed in the Under 20 division, placing 6th in Javelin and 13th in 100 metres. Well done Kemera.
You should both be happy, confident and proud of your achievements.
