Students competed at the National Culinary Competition on Friday 29th July at the Logan Campbell Centre.
We were awarded the trophy for the highest marks, and were presented with the NZ Secondary schools Excellence Award 2016 at a prizegiving event on Sunday. We held the trophy in 2012 and 2013 but lost it to KeriKeri High two years ago. We didn’t compete last year and we are excited to have it back!
We also got the highest marks in Table Setting, Soup and Omelette making.
The students' success follows a top performance in the regional competition earlier this month.
