Watch out Nano Girl, here comes HayleyHayley Ngo (Year 12) has been selected to attend the Rotary National Science & Technology Forum. This is a residential two-week programme from 9-23 January 2016. Only outstanding, all-round Science, Maths and Technology students are selected, from all across Australasia. These students must be planning to study the Sciences or Technology at tertiary level.

By the end of the forum, students will have a better understanding of the tertiary courses they wish to follow and a fuller appreciation of the place of Science and Technology in the wider community. It also provides an opportunity for high-achieving students to spend time with similar-minded people and the experiences gained invariably result in overall personal growth and a renewed motivation to succeed.

Hayley plans to become a neurosurgeon, but for now she is passionate about all Sciences, and takes any opportunity to extend her knowledge.

She says she is "honoured and blown away" to be selected for the forum.

?"My goals are to save lives and to be the best I can be. Being accepted into this programme is a dream come true and it gives me motivation to work harder towards my goals."

We know Hayley will grasp the opportunities to gain knowledge, make new friends, and be an excellent ambassador for our school.
