Our students do many great things outside of school hours that we don't hear about. Last week it was PJ's (Phillip Tele'a's) turn.
PJ, accompanied by his music teacher, Tim Randle, entertained guests at the official opening of the Manukau Beautification Trust's new workshop facility "Boomer Business". Boomer Business is a variation of the men's shed concept, offering a workshop space in Manurewa for the over 50's to work on projects.
Guests at the opening ceremony were blown away by PJ's rendition of 'Hallelujah'. Beautification Trust project manager, Anita Curlett, said it was great to be able to showcase some of the talent at Manurewa High School. "PJ has the most wonderful voice - he really kicked off the celebration in style," she said.
