The ideal applicant should be or have:

  • Enjoy working with young people
  • Registered Nurse with current Practicing Certificate 
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Youth Health (or be prepared to work towards this) 
  • Is committed to continuing his / her own professional development which includes undertaking the mandatory training associated with the position.
  • Is computer literate and demonstrates excellence in communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-culturally
  • Must work as part of a Pastoral Care team

This role includes a variety of duties such as:

  • Administer First Aid to students and staff
  • Promote Health and Healthy lifestyles
  • Maintain Health records
  • Complete HEADSS psychosocial health assessments (training available)

In this position there will be plenty of professional development opportunities available.

This position is part-time for 32.5 hours a week in school term time only.
