The PPTA (Post Primary Teachers Association) has announced a teacher strike on Wednesday, 20 August. Since most of our teachers are PPTA members, the Board has decided that school will be closed for instruction that day due to inadequate staffing.
Students under 14 who cannot stay home can come to school and will be supervised by non-union teaching staff in Te Pae Tata; no regular timetable will operate. If your child needs to come into school on Wednesday, please let us know by contacting the school office on 09 269 0690 or [email protected] All other students should continue learning from home with Hybrid Learning guides.
