Kia ora e te whanau, our Tumuaki, Pete Jones, has advised the Board that he will finish at Manurewa High School on 28 January 2027, after ten years leading our kura and twenty-one years here. He moves to a new role in education, continuing to support our community.
This is a proud moment, and we will acknowledge Pete properly before he goes. Nothing changes for our aakonga this year as Pete is with us to the end of January and every class, team and group carries on as planned.
Our Board has a clear process underway to appoint our next Tumuaki, and we will keep you informed at each stage.
